About
More than a résumé—it's how I think, work, and create value.
This is the philosophy, mindset, and values that shape how I solve problems, collaborate with others, and help organizations improve.
Why I Do This
The values and experiences that shape my approach to solving problems.
Throughout my career, I've learned that the best solutions rarely begin with technology, process maps, or project plans.
They begin with understanding.
Whether I'm improving operations, supporting a team, or helping an organization navigate change, I believe meaningful progress comes from listening carefully, asking thoughtful questions, and understanding the people, processes, and goals behind every challenge.
I don't believe in rushing to solutions. I believe in solving the right problem.
How I Think
The mindset I bring to understanding challenges and making decisions.
When I encounter a challenge, my first instinct isn't to offer a solution—it's to ask questions. I want to understand how the work gets done today, where friction exists, and what success looks like from the perspective of the people doing the work.
I enjoy connecting information that others may see as unrelated. Whether it's a business process, a team dynamic, or a technical constraint, I naturally look for patterns and connections that others may overlook.
I believe thoughtful questions uncover better answers than quick assumptions.
Every meaningful improvement begins with someone curious enough to ask, "Why?".
How I Work with Others
The relationships I build are just as important as the work we accomplish together.
The best work happens when people feel respected, trusted, and comfortable sharing their ideas. Throughout my career, I've found that strong relationships create stronger outcomes. I strive to create an environment where collaboration is encouraged, communication is open, and everyone feels comfortable contributing.
I believe titles should never determine whose ideas are heard. Some of the most valuable insights come from the people closest to the work. Listening, asking thoughtful questions, and bringing together different perspectives often leads to better decisions than any one person could reach alone.
I value accountability as much as collaboration. I take ownership of my work, communicate openly, and believe follow-through builds trust. When priorities change or challenges arise, I believe in addressing them directly and working together to find the best path forward.
Whether I'm partnering with executives, collaborating across departments, or supporting individual team members, my goal is always the same—to help people succeed while leaving the team stronger than I found it.
Great work is built on trust, respect, and a shared commitment to success.
What I Value
The principles that guide my decisions, shape my work, and define the kind of professional I strive to be.
Throughout my career, I've discovered that successful organizations aren't built solely on strategy, technology, or process. They're built by people who trust one another, communicate openly, and share a commitment to doing meaningful work.
I value curiosity because meaningful improvements begin with asking thoughtful questions. I value integrity because trust is earned through honesty, accountability, and keeping commitments. I value continuous improvement because even successful processes can often be made more effective. And above all, I value respect—because people perform at their best when they feel heard, supported, and appreciated.
These principles influence every decision I make, from how I approach complex challenges to how I collaborate with colleagues and support the organizations I serve. They aren't just values I admire—they're values I work to demonstrate every day.
The strongest organizations are built on trust, respect, curiosity, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement.
Modern Tools, Timeless Principles
Using modern tools to work smarter while keeping people, judgment, and collaboration at the center.
Technology has always been an important part of my career, and I believe it should simplify work—not complicate it. Today, that includes thoughtfully incorporating AI into my workflow to accelerate research, organize information, refine documentation, explore ideas, and improve efficiency.
I don't see AI as a replacement for experience, critical thinking, or collaboration. It doesn't eliminate the need to ask good questions, understand context, or make sound decisions. Instead, it creates more time to focus on the work that benefits most from human insight—building relationships, solving complex problems, and helping organizations move forward with confidence.
As technology continues to evolve, I remain committed to learning, adapting, and using the right tools for the right purpose while keeping people at the center of every solution.
The best technology doesn't replace human judgment—it amplifies it.
Where I Thrive
The environments where I can contribute the greatest value and build lasting partnerships.
Throughout my career, I've found that I do my best work in organizations where collaboration, trust, and continuous improvement are part of the culture. I enjoy environments where people are encouraged to share ideas, challenge assumptions respectfully, and work together toward common goals.
Small and mid-sized organizations are often a natural fit for my approach because they provide opportunities to build relationships across teams, solve a wide variety of business challenges, and see the direct impact of meaningful improvements. I also welcome opportunities with larger organizations when the role, culture, and goals are strongly aligned.
I am primarily seeking remote opportunities, where I can collaborate effectively while maintaining the flexibility to focus on delivering results. Select hybrid opportunities may also be considered when there is a strong mutual fit.
The right environment doesn't just bring out the best in me—it brings out the best in everyone involved.
Beyond Work
The experiences that continue to shape my perspective, curiosity, and appreciation for the world around me.
One of the most valuable lessons I've learned didn't come from an office—it came from learning to windsurf.
Progress wasn't immediate. Every session required patience, persistence, and a willingness to be uncomfortable. There were frustrating days when nothing seemed to click, followed by small breakthroughs that only happened because I kept showing up.
That experience reinforced something I carry into my professional work today: meaningful improvement rarely happens all at once. It comes from understanding the fundamentals, learning from setbacks, adapting, and continuing to move forward.
Photography has strengthened that perspective in a different way. It has taught me to slow down, observe carefully, and notice details that others often overlook. Whether I'm capturing a landscape or examining a business process, taking the time to truly see usually reveals opportunities that aren't obvious at first.
Growth isn't about avoiding challenges—it's about being willing to learn from them.
